Don't Just Take Our Word For It

We thought we would say a few words here about what drives us to do what we do and how we help our clients to achieve their people goals. It’s our client’s stories that matter most, that’s where you’ll see the difference we can make. You’ll can read their thoughts below and more of their stories can be found in the top left of this page.

We measure our success in many different ways, but one thing that we’re really proud of is that the majority of our clients work with us again and again. We’ve become well established business partners and trusted advisors over a number of years, ready to leap into action when we’re needed, and happy to support from afar when we’re not.

We hope, when the time is right, we can work with you too.

This is what our clients are saying about us –

We receive a very personal service from The Clear Thinking Partnership, it feels like we are dealing with a team that really care about the quality and clarity of information provided.

We were looking for a tool to help our JVPs develop their business thinking and the Big Picture tool has enabled us to improve the quality of our coaching conversations with them.

The subject of business planning, dare I say it, may sometimes been seen as dry, however the Big Picture tool and the way Bev at The Clear Thinking Partnership delivered our training was not only engaging and informative, but also challenged my team to stretch their thinking.

We are looking to incorporate the Big Picture tool into a number of interventions we are developing for our JVPS and Store Managers in 2014/15 and look forward to a continued relationship with Bev and Kate at Clear Thinking.

The Clear Thinking Partnership were able to combine a really sound retail background with some innovative thinking to create powerful change to improve customer care.

They were able to build a cultural development template for the senior team and enable a pathway to turn strategy into practical and meaningful challenges for colleagues in stores.

Knauf Insulation have worked with The Clear Thinking Partnership for a number of years now. We have run 2 cycles of a Management Development Programme as well as a couple of cycles of a similar programme aimed at Team Leader Level.

The Management Development Programme is aimed at employees who have recently been promoted or recruited into management positions. We have also place delegates on the programme who have had some more lengthy experience managing teams but no formal training or coaching in the area.

The Clear Thinking Partnership really do work as partners with the business, they get to know the business really well and listen carefully to all the stakeholders involved in the programme. The programme is always designed to fit the needs of the business and is not an off the shelf solution. The Directors, Kate & Bev, are really flexible and have often had to bend the schedule to fit in with all the unexpected events a busy work environment throws at you.

The programme itself has been received really well by all of our delegates and the mix of ‘classroom' sessions and individual coaching sessions works really well. Both Kate and Bev will often come up with valuable insights and suggestions as a result of the information they pick up from delegates, managers and the HR team.

We are in the process of planning cycle 3 and have so many employees requesting a place on the programme we have had to introduce a selection process. I would not hesitate in recommending The Clear Thinking Partnership as a Management Development provider to your business.

Clear Thinking was engaged to work with the Operations Leadership Team to ensure they were equipped to deliver the best possible performance as individuals and as a team. This was a team with diverse responsibilities and a challenging business agenda in a fast paced organisation.

Bev provided key steps through pragmatic and engaging sessions to enable the team to recognise and move towards high performance team working.

The result included an increase in trust levels across the team brought about by a better understanding of individual drivers and preferences; a willingness to be open and honest demonstrated by sharing feedback openly and constructively in order to improve performance of the team as a whole and with several personnel changes during the time the programme was running, it provided the backdrop for fast integration of new team members.

We have an annual, week long training and development event that is attended by our partners and over 100 staff. As well as our technical and IT updates we always wanted to incorporate so called “soft skills” training for our staff in all departments and at all levels.

We had little idea of what we hoped to achieve or what such training or development would look like however during our initial meeting with Clear Thinking they were able to decipher our random thoughts and provide lots of ideas that were relevant to our issues and business model.

Clear Thinking came up with detailed bespoke course plans which were then discussed with us for approval. Once we were happy we were able to hand the writing and delivery responsibility of the courses over to Clear Thinking.

In the lead up to the event Clear Thinking were regularly in touch with us to give progress updates and they were extremely helpful in assisting us with other areas such as our appraisal and staff career development process which we were keen to link in to the soft skills training plan.

The delivery was extremely professional and many of our staff requested that we use Clear Thinking again for future training and they were keen to build on what they had learned.

The buzz created by the Clear Thinking sessions was amazing and there has been a noticeable change in the positive attitude of our staff.

I had a really productive Big Picture session with Bev Holden today. It gave me a very useful insight into how my business is operating and importantly how it should be operating. I have come away with three key action points which will improve my business.

If you think you know everything about your business you should think again and then speak to Clear Thinking. Big Picture is the tool to use to unlock this information.

We have recently been dealing with a wonderful business operator called Bev Holden who works at The Clear Thinking Partnership Ltd. Bev helped us to on-board a client, and did so in a simple way that cut loads of work out of the process for us. Bev has such a great attitude summed up in the following line: “My job is to make things easy for everybody”. And she does. She clears paths, reduces steps and does so seemingly without effort. I have known her for a few months, but already I know that I want to work with her again.

I just wanted to thank you both for the time and input you have had with guys from my team. I know from feedback and regular updates they have all found it immensely useful and enlightening. I see on a daily basis an improvement in both attitude and thought process from all of them. Of course this will become far more meaningful as time goes on and the practice kicks in.
Thanks again!

In the two years I’ve worked with Bev and Kate I can’t think of a better example of where shared values lead to brilliant working relationships. They are incredibly passionate, energetic and fun to be around. Throw in the mix highly competent, experienced and delivery-focused and you have a powerful blend unafraid of direct, transparent thinking which isn’t always going to be easy to take but is always for the benefit of the client.

What makes them so easy to work with is they listen, they reflect and propose, they act .. then around again. At each stage taking on board the views of those who will influence the success of the work.

And what makes them stand out is that they know when to call on the various strengths and how to bring them together in a practical way with the end-game firmly in mind.

Clear Thinking have quickly forged excellent relationships with the teams who trust them and feel safe in their hands, which makes for a better learning experience.
