Why Bitesize Learning?

Research studies have suggested that the average adult can "listen with understanding" for approximately 90 minutes, and "listen with retention" for approximately 20 minutes.

This research derives the 90/20/8 rule:

A module/session should ideally run for no more than ninety minutes

The
pace should change at least every twenty minutes

We should find a way to involve people in the content every eight minutes.

Monkey Business Print

Elephant BurgersLook around you now. What can you see in your office or workplace? Does it all look very familiar? Can you even remember the last time that things changed?

If you were now to stand on your head – would things still look the same?

Often in life and work we accept things as they are and spend very little time thinking about if they are exactly the right thing, or just about good enough. With time being short, and the "to do" list being long, the old adage “if it ‘ain’t broke don’t fix it” works nicely.

How often has someone new joined your business and suggested a simple change that has made a huge difference, leaving you amazed that you hadn’t spotted it before?

The Monkey Business session challenges people to look at things from a different perspective and freshen up their viewpoint.

Monkey Business challenges you to:

  • Spot hitherto hidden opportunities within your organisation
  • Energise and stretch your creative thinking
  • Generate new solutions for old issues
  • Revive your “fresh pair of eyes”
  • Increase your engagement with your business
