We believe that coaching is about putting knowledge into practical effect. Of course it's about thinking too, but beyond that it's about creating the impetus for taking action. So much of what we know can be left unutilised. We often speak to managers and directors who say that they know their people have the skills, knowledge and experience to perform at their best, but they are frustrated that they seem unable to apply all that they know to truly maximise their potential and impact on the organisation. We help our clients to make the necessary leaps in their thinking through a robust coaching process but our watch words for coaching are "inspiring action," so that the people we work with do something meaningful with what they know and really make a difference. Beyond this we have successfully used coaching to assist our clients to improve performance, learn new skills and to support career transition. "The process I went through was very clear and easy to understand; and I felt supported at each step. Being in the right role is so important for me and I have now changed my job and relocated as a result of my coaching experience.” Julia Lea, Associate Director KPMG Benefits to the organisation:
Benefits to the individual:
"My coaching experience was of huge benefit to me in focusing my mind and in my gaining clarity about my future career path. It allowed me to realise my potential and increased my self belief and ultimately enhanced my performance. It allowed me to think of the answers or the direction of thought without realising I was doing so." Jenifer Lord, Regional HR Advisor, Argos Evaluating Your Coaching
Coaching is about working with you to bring about the changes and actions you want. At the start of our working relationship, we will agree the objectives you want to achieve. These objectives might form part of a formal development programme or meet your personal goals. It is against the achievement of these objectives that the effectiveness of your coaching can be measured. |
