We create the right CLIMATE. The "feel" of the meeting has to be just right - so we set an appropriate tone for the meeting by what we say and how we behave, we help people to relax and feel comfortable together, we read the signals from the group and help them to adjust the mood of the meeting, allowing for thoughtful reflection, lively debate and encouraging the group to add levity to the meeting with their natural humour.
We maximise ENGAGEMENT. As an absolute minimum we have to get people engaged - this begins well before the meeting as we canvas the wider team for their thoughts and ideas. Then we use our creative flair to design a format and content that gets people fully involved, is something that stimulates the brain intellectually and emotionally, that causes people to interact and collaborate, gets them talking to each other about the stuff that really matters, has them sharing knowledge, making and building things, challenging each other, and working towards that all important outcome. Working collaboratively with the meeting sponsor is critial throughout this stage.
We focus on the OUTCOME. Your meeting outcome is at the heart of everything - so that's where we start, its what we focus on in the midddle and what we look for at the end. We help our clients to define exactly what will be different in their business by the end of the meeting so that meetings are more than a "talking shop," they can be game-changing in terms of their impact on the business.
