I don’t buy into the idea that we can control everything that happens to us.
There are too many factors to attend to if we’re going to try.
I don’t believe in luck either. It’s something we made up to try to rationalise why some things happen and some things don’t happen.
This quote is about more than control, and it’s definitely not about luck.
It’s about being intentional.
About showing up and getting in the game, because we can’t ‘do’ life if we observe it from a distance.
And knowing that whatever happens has the potential to be the right thing.
Whether something is the right thing or not, is regulated by our perception.
How we think about a situation determines whether we deem it be right, wrong, good, or bad.
